SEASON 3 OF UNITY PREMIER LEAGUE KICKS OFF IN STYLE AS MOONDAY FA AND OTOKITI ROCK FC SHARE POINT.
The season 3 of Unity Premier League gets underway on Friday 9th December 2022 at Confluence Stadium Main Bowl with two of the best teams locking horns in the First Match.
Both side gave a good account of themselves in the opening minute but it was Musa Raji with Jersey number 10 of Otikiti Rock FC that opened their goal account at 20 minutes of play. First half ended 1:0 in favor of Otokiti Rock FC.
Dauda Abdulkareem of Moonday had one on one which he failed to convert but became ferocious and aggressive in front and was gifted with opportunities to score two (2) within seven (7) minutes. His first goal came at 51 minuntes while his second goal was at 58 minutes of play.
Ultimate FC could only thanks Ahmed Salihu who took his chance that came his way to make it 2:2 at 66 minutes and the game went on like that untill the game came to an end.
Speaking with Sir Lampard, the media officer of the league after the Match, Abbas Abdul who stood in for the head coach Audu Dauda said he is satisfied with the level of discipline and Sportsmanship exhibited by the two teams and their Supporters.
Team Manager Muhammed Abdulkareem of Moonday FA Showered Praises on his brother Dauda Abdulkareem for his efforts and not giving up that almost give them the victory.
